Arcadia Rankings June/July 2011
As you may well know i haven't bought Arcadia for a while as it was costing me like £15 per issue every month for less and less SNKP content but came across this post on Versus City today regarding the rankings for June and July 2011.
Arcadia June issue Top 10
1. Gundam vs. Gundam Xtreme Versus
2. Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion
3. Blazblue Continuum Shift II
4. Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition
5. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown
6. Arcana Heart 3
7. Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code
8. Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
9. King of Fighters XIII
10. Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Arcadia July issue Top 10
1. Gundam vs. Gundam Xtreme Versus
2. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown
3. Blazblue Continuum Shift II
4. Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion
5. Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition
6. King Of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match
7. Arcana Heart 3
8. Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code
9. Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
10. King of Fighters XIII
Doesn't seem like much has changed very much since i last bought it, 02UM randomly dropping in and out and XIII lingering within the 5-10 spots.
If you check out the original post on Versus City you can read an explanation for how these rankings work, read it in full here.

This post is kinda reassuring because everyone thought that the Aquapazza, SSFIV and who knows what else a lot of KoF XIII public would flee to other machines.
ReplyDeleteIt's cool to see it's at least staying in the top 10, i do wonder why none of the KOF games have been announced for Tougeki yet though... :-/
ReplyDeleteI don't think either game got a Tougeki DVD either, was looking forward to the 02um one D:
(for last year)
ReplyDeleteWell, I remember that they wanted to change Tougeki so that it becomes a bi-yearly event; and that in every instance of it different game tournaments might be held... That could explain it, they might be saving "ald skul" 2D fighters for the other tougeki?
ReplyDeleteI thought that was because they wanted to accommodate Tekken Tag 2, it would be nice though if they had two KOFs like last year.
ReplyDeleteEven better if it was including KOF98 as well xD
Hoping to be able to go to watch my first Tougeki this year if i can save enough money by September.
